A ferry terminal is a public transport facility where passengers can board or disembarking an on-water ferry vessel such as a CityCat, CityHopper or CityFerry to be transported either across or along the Brisbane River.
This point dataset depicts twenty five locations of ferry terminals in the Brisbane River between St Lucia and Hamilton which are used to load and unload passengers.
The ferry terminal points were digitised off 2015 aerial photography 0.1 metre resolution, terminal locations then confirmed with the use of 2017 NearMap's series aerial photography to complete the dataset to accommodate flood resilience terminals that are built and in operation. This dataset is not to be used for navigational purposes. Source Information: Primary information sources used to identify and attribute the terminals came from internal of Brisbane City Council data. The data may not fully reflect all recent changes in terminal operations, upgrades, operating status, ownership and operators of included terminals. There may be omissions because of non-discovery of information.
